Why rent your storage unit from us? 24 hour access to your things, in a safe, secure facility that is near to where you live. Our mini-storage locations are close to you, no matter where you live in the Johnson City, Bristol, Kingsport – or anywhere in between.

Not only that, but we offer affordable prices without long-term contracts. And if you need help moving in, you can use moving truck, available free of charge to our customers.

Best of all, we’re a locally-owned family business. Most of our occupants know our friendly staff by name. And we know them too! So when you need something, you can call our office right here in town- not some 800 number – and you’ll have the peace of mind knowing we care about your belongings as much as you do.

How and when can I rent a unit?

Go to any one of our seven (7) Tri-Cities locations and rent from the entrance gate phone  24/7. Your call will be answered by one of our friendly and knowledgeable staff members. You can pay with a credit card, debit card, check, or money order. Call anytime to rent!

Do you have climate controlled units available?

Yes, climate control units are available in Bristol, Greeneville, Piney Flats, Blountville and Johnson City (S. Roan) locations.

Do you supply a lock or do I need to bring my own?

24 Hr. Self Storage does not provide a lock for you, however, we sell the type of lock we recommend using, a Chateau Silver Disc Lock.  We sell these at each location for $10.00 per lock.  We strongly encourage the use of a round disc lock which provides a higher level of security.

How do I pay my monthly bill?

You can pay your monthly bill several ways.  We can automatically charge your American Express, Discover, MasterCard or Visa each month.  We also accept cash at our office on S. Roan Street or you can mail a check or money order to our office at 2501 S. Roan Street, Johnson City, TN 37601.  CASH IS ONLY ACCEPTED AT THE OFFICE.

Do I have to sign a contract for a certain period of time or can I rent month to month?

You do sign a contract; however, it is on a month to month basis. We do not pro-rate your rent when you move in or out. You can move out whenever you want prior to your contract renewal date.

Can I cancel my contract at any time?

You can cancel your contract anytime prior to your monthly renewal date by simply removing your lock and all of the contents in your unit.  As you leave the facility, call the office from the entrance gate telephone and let us know you have vacated your unit. We do not pro-rate your rent when moving in or out.  If a renter “moves out” but leaves the unit locked, then the unit charges continue to accumulate.

Do you have video cameras?

All facilities are equipped with multiple security cameras which are recording.

What type of security do you have?

All of our facilities are gated. You will have a unique gate code to enter the facility. Your unit will be secured with your lock. If you have a climate controlled unit, there is a unique door code to get into the climate controlled building, as well as your lock on your unit.

Do I need renters insurance?

We strongly encourage all of our tenants to purchase renters insurance. If you are a homeowner or already have renters insurance, all you need to do is call your insurance company. If not, we can provide you with a phone number to a company that specializes in self storage.
